2. Scope

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern all sales concluded through the website www.unfinisheddegree.com. By placing an order, the customer ("you") confirms having read and accepted these Terms in full.

UNFINISHED DEGREE reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. The applicable version is the one in effect at the time of your order.

3. Products

The products offered for sale are handcrafted sneakers and related accessories, produced in limited quantities. Each product is described as accurately as possible on the website. However, slight variations in color, texture, or finish may occur due to the handcrafted nature of the products and to differences in screen rendering. These minor variations do not constitute a defect and cannot give rise to a refund claim.

Product availability is limited. UNFINISHED DEGREE cannot be held liable if a product becomes unavailable after an order has been validated, in which case a full refund will be processed within 14 days.

4. Preorder Sales

IMPORTANT: All products on this website are sold on a preorder basis. This means that:

At the time of your order, the product does not yet exist physically and has not yet been produced.
Full payment is required at the time of preorder.
Once the preorder period closes, the order is sent to the manufacturer for production.
Production takes approximately 6 to 8 weeks from order closure.
Shipping takes an additional 1 to 2 weeks after production is complete.
Total estimated delivery time: 8 to 10 weeks from the close of the preorder period.

The exact delivery date will be communicated to you by email once your order is shipped. You will receive a tracking number to follow your shipment.

By placing a preorder, you accept these delivery timelines, which are inherent to the handcrafted, small-batch nature of UNFINISHED DEGREE products.

If the production cannot be completed (force majeure, manufacturer closure, raw material shortage, etc.), UNFINISHED DEGREE will inform you immediately and process a full refund within 14 days, without any further compensation.

5. Prices

Prices are displayed in Euros (EUR) and are inclusive of all applicable taxes (the seller is not subject to VAT under Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code; therefore the price displayed is the final price).

Shipping costs are added at checkout based on the destination and are clearly indicated before order confirmation.

For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties and import taxes may apply and are the sole responsibility of the customer.

UNFINISHED DEGREE reserves the right to modify prices at any time, but products will always be invoiced at the price in effect at the moment of order validation.

6. Ordering Process

To place an order:

Select the product, color, and size.
Add the product to your cart.
Provide your billing and shipping information.
Choose your payment method.
Review and confirm your order.
Receive an order confirmation by email.

The order is final upon receipt of the confirmation email. UNFINISHED DEGREE reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in case of suspected fraud, payment failure, or any other legitimate reason.

7. Payment

Payment is processed in full at the time of order. Accepted payment methods include credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal. Payments are processed by certified PCI-DSS payment providers. UNFINISHED DEGREE never stores your full payment card details.

8. Shipping

Shipping is provided by partner carriers. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are calculated at checkout based on the destination.

Title and risk of loss pass to the customer upon delivery of the product to the carrier. In case of damage or loss during transit, please contact us at contact@unfinisheddegree.com within 7 days of delivery so we can assist with a claim.

9. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Articles L221-18 to L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, you have a legal right of withdrawal of 14 calendar days from the day of receipt of your order, without having to justify your decision or pay any penalty.

To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw by sending a clear statement to contact@unfinisheddegree.com (a sample withdrawal form is available on request). You may use any other unambiguous statement of your decision.

You must return the product to us, in its original condition and packaging, unworn and unwashed, within 14 days of notifying us of your withdrawal. Return shipping costs are at your expense.

We will refund the full amount paid, including the original shipping costs (except for any supplementary costs arising from your choice of a more expensive delivery method), within 14 days of receiving the returned product, using the same payment method used for the original order.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to products that have been personalized or made to your specifications, except for the standard preorder process described in section 4.

10. Legal Warranties

All products sold by UNFINISHED DEGREE benefit from the following legal warranties, free of charge to the consumer:

Legal warranty of conformity (Articles L217-3 to L217-17 of the French Consumer Code): 2 years from delivery. The seller is required to deliver a product that conforms to the contract and to remedy any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery.
Warranty against hidden defects (Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code): the seller is liable for hidden defects that make the product unfit for its intended use, or that significantly diminish that use.

To exercise these warranties, contact us at contact@unfinisheddegree.com with a description of the issue and photos if applicable. We will respond within 5 business days with the next steps.

11. Returns and Refunds

12. Liability

UNFINISHED DEGREE is liable only for direct damages arising from a breach of these Terms, up to the amount paid by the customer for the order in question. UNFINISHED DEGREE shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

UNFINISHED DEGREE shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from a force majeure event (natural disaster, war, strike, manufacturer closure, governmental restrictions, supply chain disruption, etc.).

13. Intellectual Property

All content on this website (texts, images, logos, designs, product photographs) is the exclusive property of Thibault Damian Davril. Any unauthorized reproduction is strictly prohibited.

14. Personal Data

The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

15. Mediation and Dispute Resolution

In case of dispute, the customer may submit a complaint by email to contact@unfinisheddegree.com. We will respond within 15 business days.

If no amicable solution is found, the customer may, in accordance with Article L612-1 of the French Consumer Code, submit the dispute free of charge to a consumer mediator. UNFINISHED DEGREE will provide the contact details of the competent mediator upon request once an active mediator subscription is in place. Pending designation, the customer may use the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

16. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. In the absence of an amicable resolution, any dispute shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent French courts of the customer's place of residence, or of the place of delivery, in accordance with the French Consumer Code.
